Mayor Buggle visits Herzog Intertec
Last week Mayor Buggle accepted the invitation of Herzog Intertec and paid a visit to the company. Managing Director Raphael Herzog and his father and company founder Ewald Herzog illustrated to Schultes how has the company developed itself in the recent years and what portfolio does it offer to customers.
Buggle was fascinated by the well-known customers that are supplied by Herzog Intertec. He was also impressed by the great focus placed on research and development of some extremely common products. “It’s great to see that the know-how from Mahlstetten is being used in many well-known vehicle models or household appliances,” says the mayor.
Raphael Herzog made it clear that everyone is satisfied at the Mahlstetten site. Nevertheless, he asked Mayor Buggle to tackle the broadband development in a timely manner. Digitization in particular received a good boost during the Corona period. Numerous customer meetings were held via video link.Large amounts of data were also transfered, for which the company requires a solid telecommunications connection..
