Herzog Intertec in the Schneiderei
On November 22, 2024, the entire Herzog team traveled to Rottweil to visit the Schneiderei restaurant.
There, we met for a homemade burger cooking class.
After a brief welcome from head chef Philipp Schneider, complete with a sparkling wine reception, we got right to work.
In small groups, we prepared the first course: a chicken burger with mango salsa and ginger mayo. Philipp Schneider enthusiastically explained how to make fluffy burger buns and homemade mayonnaise. After much chopping, stirring, and kneading, we eagerly devoured our first delicious burger.
Next, we moved on to the second course: a salmon burger made with salmon loin, peanut sauce, and wasabi arugula. This burger was also a culinary delight. Homemade, of course, it tasted twice as good.
Now, as true burger chefs, we tackled the third course. The classic cheeseburger with cheddar, bacon, and delicious Hasselback potatoes. Of course, this is a must-have at any burger cooking class. We enjoyed this classic with homemade ketchup and plenty of pleasant conversation at the table.
With full stomachs, we then moved on to dessert. Course four: blondies with yogurt ice cream and crumble. After the fragrant blondies came out of the oven, we decorated them with the ice cream and crumble, delicious fruit, and edible flowers, and then devoured them.
It was a wonderful, fun, and educational evening at the fantastic tailor shop, one we will remember for a long time.
